Can't Sleep
Some of us go through life not knowing the kinds of pleasure that more fortunate people enjoy.
Some people go through their entire lives living off streets, slums, suppressing their hunger with left-overs, trash, and whatever else they can scrounge up from filth. Or whatever charity the "more fortunate people" throw their way.
Some others walk through this thing called life, being like everyone else, doing whatever everyone else does.
Some seem to have found joy in their lives; or at least they're exceptional at hiding their true turmoil and act as though their lives are full of joy and passion and love.
Some are in search of happiness, passion, love, meaning of their existence; and probably will be in search of these things for the rest of their lives - not fully understanding why they are who they are, and how they've come to be who they are. And in the end their lives will be nothing more than just that -- a long search.
Some of us will go through life, bored to deah out of our minds. And yet for some others, life will be the greatest adventure that they will ever take-on.
I absolutely despise my work.
Some good have come out of it - sure. I've traveled to few places in the eastern states, I've made few friends, and I've made some money.
But in the end, I believe that my work will be the death of me.
As Albert Schweitzer quoted, "The tragedy of life is what dies inside a man while he lives."
