Music To My Ears

Installed a new CD player in my Tercel today. Well, a new used CD player.
My buddy brought me his CD player that's been in his Honda CRX. He's getting rid of his car, so if anyone wants it, let me know.

Took me quiet a bit of time installing the stereo because I had to cross all the wires.
But what really ticked me off was the wireless steering wheel control for the CD player. Painstakingly I installed the darn thing, and turns out that the range on the remote is too short, so I couldn't leave it where I had it installed. And I broke a few things in the process. So, no. I'm not using the remote.

Cool thing is though, it came with a handheld remote control, so I'll just use that. Having a remote control for the stereo is AWESOME! No more stretching my arm to change the volume. Just click, click.

My friend Kirstie asked me if I wanna join her next week in Vegas.
She's going there for some business-related convention; and will be there for a few days.
Free lodging for me!
I ought to take advantage of the offer and go on a short break.
But I really ought to get ready for the nazi schedule at work starting in two weeks.
But I really should go on a vacation.

Or should I wait and go visit Andy in Colorado at the end of March?

Wish I had the funds to make these decisions readily.
Wish I had security in my future to make radical decisions.
Maybe I don't need any of that...
